Right in the centre of Wells & extremely close to all the amenities. Car Parks, Restaurants, Cafes etc. We were in the Attic Room with 2 flights of steep stairs but worth the climb as long as you are fit & able. Great host in Avril & gave great advice about eating out & local attractions.

Lovely comfortable clean room. Avril the host was lovely. Good location , pretty quiet. Lots of places to eat but being in a harbour, fish was the main dish on all menus, which for me personally was abit of an issue as I don't eat fish ! But if you like fish, you'll be happy 😊

Anchorage Wells is located in Wells-next-the-Sea, just a 2-minutes walk away from the harbor, shops, restaurant and cafes. Set in a quiet location, guests are within walking distance to the award-winning beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham.

    We do not accept pets in the B&B but we do welcome 1 small to medium dog in the apartment if it can be left with no trace of dog. Most accommodation providers do not accept dogs, so by having a set of guidelines that I ask you to agree to will allow me to continue to take them and we have had quite a few happy dogs and their owners enjoy a holiday in the Anchorage Wells Harbour Apartment. Please check with Avril direct before booking so that we can check you are all happy with the guidelines and for suitability to the space and due to allergies. We do not accept dogs that are booked retrospectively.

  • Hello. Please confirm the room does not have low of sloping ceilings! I am very tall! Not keen on banging my head when I get out of bed. Thanks.

    We have 2 king double en-suite rooms with high ceilings and the only possibiblity of banging your head would be on a slightly lower part of ceiling on the stairs for Port room. The king suite with partial seaview has double aspect views all built into a sloping roof with 6 foot 5 inch height through the rooms, a low door way between your private rooms and 6 foot 2 inch part of the sloping shower.   • is breakfast included with the £630 6 night stay? do we have guarantee of car parking space?

    Best rate in Wells for a king in sought after location discounted as we are not able to serve breakfast, only 2 mins from café, delhi and a natural harbour to eat breakfast with amazing wildlife entertainment. We have no parking. Best rates direct.

  • Is there free parking nearby?

    There is busy free on street parking nearby, free 1800 to 0800 during which time guests get parked on street when day trippers and workers go home. The car park is within 2min. Its a trade off being so close to the harbour. Search for AnchorageWells

  • Where can I park and is there a charge please

    There is free on street parking nearby and Stearmans Yard car park within 2 minutes doing hourly and day rates. Not having parking is a trade off for being in the most sought after location so close to the harbour.

    There is free busy on Street parking within 1 to 2 minutes and a pay car park within 3 minutes’ walk. Most places this close to the harbour do not have parking, it’s a trade off with being so close to the sea in a sought-after area. See the host info

    We love dogs but are not able to accept them due to allergies. We take them in the apartment if non shedding and off peak times. Email us direct with dates and details to check. We do not book dogs thru booking.com.

  • Hi, would you consider letting us stay with a miniature poodle? He is well behaved and does not shed hair.

  • Hi, we really want to book for 3rd June however it says check in isn’t until 5pm. Would an earlier check in be possible?

PARKING: The apartment has its own parking space, the B&B does not have parking. Wells has a natural and working harbour, large sandy beaches, sweeping dunes, marshes, pinewoods with amazing wildlife. Home to large numbers of visiting waders and in winter geese that fill the sky above us with their amazing display of formation flying making us a great place to visit all year round.
