In the pretty village of Menai Bridge, the 200 year-old Anglesey Arms is rich in original charm and traditional character, with tasty home-cooked food and real ales.

The Anglesey Arms is the first building you see as you enter the island of Anglesey over Thomas Telford's famous Menai Suspension Bridge over the Menai Strait.

The friendly pub serves traditional real ales and good, honest pub food in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The building is steeped in history and the bell once used to call last orders was the original ship's bell rescued from the HMS Conwy, which ran aground in the Menai Straits in April 1953.

  • Hi, tried to call but no answer. Do you have secure parking for motorbikes. Cheers Stuart

    Hi The car park is open, not secured but large and safe. We haven't had any problems in the past. If necessary we can secure the bike behind the locked kitchen gates.

  • I would catching the early train from Bangor at 6.48am would you serve breakfast early?

    I'm afraid due to staff shortages the earliest breakfast slot would be 7am. We could arrange a continental to take away.

  • Hello please do you have secure electric bike storage and charging point thanks

    You can store bikes inside the pub once we have closed and in the meantime they can be stored safely in our yard. We don't have electric bike chargers.

  • what time is breakfast in the morning? Also does bathroom have a shower in the family room?

    Breakfast is served 7am - 10am Monday - Friday & 7:30am - 10:30am Saturday and Sunday. We are flexible if necessary. The family rooms have bath's with showers above.

  • Hi do you have a shower in room as well as a bath also is there anywhere near by that does fishing please thank you

    We only have one single room with a shower, the rest are all baths with showers above. There are lot's of places around us where you can fish. You can literally just walk one minute down the road and fish in the Menai Strait.
