lovely staff and comfy bed. made me feel so welcome on arrival, great bar and beer garden with lots of friendly locals! even brought some sandwiches ( for free) out for me when they told me local chippy was shut. brilliant hospitality.

The place was calm and neat though it was a small room. The bathroom, in spite of being shared was neat. The staff was friendly.

Had a very warm welcome. The bed and bedroom where very nice. The pub looks very cozy and welcoming. The lady who made our breakfast was very very lovely. This is a good place to stay for a few days or more and explore Edinburgh. Just a 30 mins walk from princess street and lots of buses to take as well. And there are historical pictures strewn across the wall which I really like.
