Fantastic stay. Jo and Trevor were excellent hosts. The breakfast was homemade porridge lots of fresh fruit and home made bread. I would certainly recommend this b&b

We were made very welcome and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty but very minimal, the cooked breakfast looked lost on a large plate.

I loved every single thing about this stay! Jo’s hospitality was amazing, the vibe of this place is fantastic from the moment you first step in. The room was beautiful, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The guest area downstairs is perfect to relax by the fire and read some books from the bookshelf (plenty of nice ones to choose from!). The house is full of custom-made furniture and decor items, all cute and memorable. To top it all off, the breakfast was outstanding, full of home-made goodies and local ingredients. Thank you so much for everything!

Terrific hospitality with great breakfasts and lots of characterful quirky touches. Extremely kind and helpful hosts.

Fantastic welcoming owners, lovely location couldn’t fault a single thing. Will be returning with my wife in the near future.

Lovely breakfast and quiet location. Lovely hosts. Great stay.

Stunning location and a gorgeous and extremely comfy room. Delicious breakfast too with lots of home made goodies (the granola is fantastic in particular!). Jo could not have been more helpful and accommodating when we had a car issue and was very friendly and lovely to chat too.

Beautiful inside and out - tastefully furnished and exceptional in every way!

It is difficult to describe just how nice this place is. As far as BnB's go, this is probably as good as it gets. The location is peaceful and close to the coast. The cottage is at the same time stylish and extremely cosy. Jo and Trevor are amazing hosts, and Jo made us feel at home. The breakfast was excellent.

The host couldn’t have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble and to be welcomed by two wild deer was a bonus. The breakfast was first class with plenty more had we wanted it. The location was so peaceful

Hi Jo, Not sure if you received my last message before the cancellation too effect? Would early Oct be a good time to come to Assnyt if I wanted to shoot snow capped mountains with autumnal brown foliage on the lower slopes … and definitely no Scottish midge around? With best wishes, KevinHi Kevin, Thanks so much for your message - October is an absolutely beautiful time to come to Assynt :) ..... it is often mild and atmospheric, with a lovely mellow feel. Not usually any midges around, and sometimes there is snow on the hills :)Answered on 21 August 2021

Is there somewhere local to get a good evening meal?Hi there, During the season, there is lots of choice of good places to eat, both locally and further afield.
