Ashbrook House is modern and offers each of its visitors a peaceful and tranquil stay. Set amidst dreamlike rural surroundings, Ashbrook House and Apartments will have you feeling as though you have stepped into a place truly away from it all. Ashbrook House is a family run establishment with each guest greeted by its welcoming owners, Crofton and Hazel McDermott. The house and Apartments stands on 5 acres of spectacular private gated grounds, including a large pond. Here, guests are free to roam, explore and unwind from the stresses of everyday life. Conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the M1 motorway and a 15-minute drive from the historic town of Dungannon – this luxury B&B and Apartments in Northern Ireland acts as the perfect starting point or stopover for any adventure. Secure onsite parking with garage facilities are also available to guests. The apartments suit couples, families and small groups, providing bed linen, towels, a generous welcome pack, washer/dryer and hairdryer
Crofton and Hazel have always been interested in the hospitality industry and are keen to provide the best service possible for there guests. They run a luxury Bed and Breakfast as well as two apartment units situated on their site. Taken every detail into account to make sure all aspect are covered to give there guests the best possible stay. They love looking after their garden and 5acre field producing haylage for 4 miniature horses they care for as a hobby. Crofton is a keen wood crafter and spends his spear time in the shed producing many items. Hazel runs afternoon tea parties producing all the pastries, sandwiches ect herself. When they have any time left over they love watching movies in there own cinema room and it is a family get together as everyone enjoys the movies. They both enjoy eating out when they get the time and family holidays are a must every year, visiting places all over Europe, South Africa, America, Canada and hopefully Australia in the future as they have family there. Family is every important to them both so a lot of time is spent together and with running the business from home gives them that opportunity for this.
The apartments are situated 3miles outside the boarder town of Aughnacloy, which is the village between the north of Ireland and the south of Ireland. It is an ideal location for a stopover between the two countries, coming either way with just 1hour 30minute journey to the Giants Causeway, the North Coast and 45minute drive to Belfast. To Dublin it is only 2hour drive. Our central location is excellent. 40minute drive will take you to Enniskillen and the Lakes of Fermanagh. In our own area the is the Designer shopping centre Linen Green in the Town of Dungannon. A 10minute drive will take you to the award winning Corick House Hotel and Sallys Resturant and bar is where we will provide free transport to and from on request for both places. For History you have US Present Grant Ancestral Homestead, Hill of the O`Neill and Ranfurly House, Parkanaur Manor House, St Pactrick`s Chair & Well, Castlecaulfield Castle, the American Folk Park, Seamus Heaney Centre and many more I have not mentioned. For Activities there is Todd`s Leap Activity centre, Jungle NI, Aughnacloy Golf Club, Dungannon Golf Club, Dungannon Park, Blessingbourne Mountain BikeTrials and lots more.
