Set in Scarborough's beautiful valley, the Ashburton House is a family-run B&B that is just 10 minutes’ walk along the tree-lined Valley Road from the South Bay and town center. The B&B has its own off-street car park.

All of the charming and comfortable bedrooms have their own private bathroom and are well equipped with TVs, DVD players, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and radio alarm clocks. Every year at least one of the 8 bedrooms is fully refurbished.

Throughout the public areas, the B&B aims to capture the charm and elegance of the late Victorian period, during which the property was built.

The B&B offers an extensive breakfast menu and as well as serving a full English breakfast, also offers grilled kippers, smoked salmon and many other lighter options.

  • hi we have been before just wondering is the room on the top floor at the back. wanting to book for 1st Dec but wasnt keen on the view

    Hi we have a few rooms left for the 1st dec so you can make a request for a certain floor if you wish. I am not sure which room that you were in last time, we have 4 rooms on the top floor, 2 overlook the back and 2 overlook the front. If you do wish to book just request either the first or sedond floor and to overlook the front or the back and we will do the best we can to accommodate your requests. Many thanks Steven

  • Sorry I asked you a question regarding family room 2 Adults 2 children sorry is there a separate bedroom for children is that one of the connecting rooms

    HI yes it will be the room that has a seperate interconnecting bedroom for the children, the room comes off your main bedroom. If you look online at the family room for 5 it will be this room, and there are a good selection photos to view. steven

  • Hi we are looking at booking a room with ensuit for two priced at £230 4 nights, how many stairs to get to this room ?.

  • Hi I’m wanting to book a family room the one that has an an adjoining bedroom as we want to take our two grandchildren. If booking for two adults two children will this room automatically be booked? Also how far are you away from Scarborough town? Thankyou
