A beautiful character property perfectly located in the centre of Grassington within easy walking distance of all amenities. If you appreciate old properties you will love this. The accommodation is augmented by friendly attentive owners and staff. The breakfast selection, quality and service was nothing short of superb.

This 17th century Grade II listed house is located in pretty village of Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. Dating back to 1604, Ashfield House offers luxurious rooms, country cooking and a walled garden.

Individually decorated rooms feature Egyptian cotton bedding. Each offers a TV, refreshments and an en suite shower room or private bathroom. The garden suite also has a lounge with feature fireplace and wood stove.

A full English is served at Ashfield House. All ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. There is also a licensed 'honesty' bar at the property, and some excellent pubs and restaurants in the area.

Guests can relax in the lounges or gardens and free WiFi is available in most areas. Set on the River Wharfe, Grassington is ideal for walking, fishing and cycling and lies on the ‘The Dales Way’ trekking route. Ashfield House has free private parking and is 9 miles from Skipton.

  • My sister and I would like to stay for 3 nights from Friday 22nd October but need a twin room. Do you have either Room 2 or the Garden suite available

  • Are you providing anything for new years eve I.e. a special meal ?

    Whilst we will be open at new year, our intension is to continue with our current service, offering a hearty home cooked breakfast. I am sure a number of places in the village will be providing a celebratory New Years Eve meal.

    1.00pm probably wouldn't be a problem, but it's a bit difficult to guarantee it without knowing which date you have in mind. We suggest a later time because under the current deep cleaning regime, it could otherwise be a problem on a busy day.
