“Breakfast was probably one of the best we have ever had in a bed and breakfast. Great choice and cooked to perfection. Room was superb but would have been nice to have been able to have tye heating on in the evening and early morning.”

“A fabulous friendly small hotel, we stayed for three nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Sue and Ed are the most friendly people and made us feel very welcome, our room was spotless with everything clean neat and tidy and the food delicious, all home cooked by Sue and served by Ed for whom nothing was too much trouble. “Everything a very warm welcome room was loverly with en suite bathroom which was exceptional. Home made cake was left for us with our tea and coffee each nite all toiletries present along with bathrobes presented with roses and the breakfast was outstanding good choice on menu 10 mins walk from centre definitely visit again ”

“I rang to let Sue know we were on our way and she was waiting for us with a warm welcome and a parking permit. Sue and Ed made us very welcome with one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. A very British B&B with only 3 rooms. The other guests were lovely too and chatting over breakfast was the highlight of our day. If you are looking for a modern hotel and insular environment - this isn’t for you. If however you want to stay somewhere warm, welcoming and traditional this will be right up your street. Sue and Ed made a great effort to make you welcome with little extras we weren’t expecting . ”

“Wonderfully helpful and efficient hosts provided a clean, comfortable environment with lovely welcoming touches. Our room was generously sized with a lovely ensuite and a huge comfortable bed. Breakfasts were freshly made using local produce and there was a wide selection all cheerfully and quickly produced. Parking was straightforward and there was no charge. We would definitely stay at Atlanta again. Thanks for a lovely week in Yorkshire!”
