We were met at the door my out hosts and warmly welcomed. Our room was very specious as well as the bathroom. Our hosts were very knowledgeable of local restaurants in the area and gave us a few suggestions. Once we decided they even called and made a reservation for us as well. Our breakfast both day was very delicious, hot and fresh. We would definitely recommend Aurora Guest House.

We spent the last two nights of our Scottish Holiday here and this was a fitting climax to our stay. The owners of the accommodation were so friendly and did their very best to make the stay comfortable. Pamela loves to cook and does so very well; her homemade jam for example was so rich in flavour. The facilities were spacious, with ample safe car parking and a well managed if small garden to sit in weather permitting. The bus stops (outward and return) outside the door took us to the key attractions on our list in Aberdeen. Much easier than driving. A choice of eating places within walking distance (10 minutes +) provided good food and friendly service, albeit a little slow - we arrived at the weekend evening rush hours!

Aurora is the only visit Scotland 4 star guest house in Aberdeen with 7 en-suite rooms. Free parking, excellent Wi-fi for you to connect your devices to your own streaming accounts. We work hard to offer all our guests a homely welcome. Tripadvisor Award of Excellence and Taste our best award for quality and produce offered. We have single/double/twin and family rooms. 2 ground floor rooms. One of the family rooms has curtain to divide the 2 areas. Situated just over 1 mile to city centre. Our breakfasts are cooked fresh to order by Dave an ex head chef using Scottish produce wherever possible and all included with your stay. You will enjoy all our homemade jams & marmalades along with freshly made pancakes or Aberdeen butteries. High quality furniture and furnishings are used throughout. We have a lovely residents lounge with its original fireplace and open fire where there are always homebakes, homemade tablet to help yourself. An nespresso coffee machine has been added for those who want to help themselves to a nice coffee. There is a beautiful garden to sit and relax on those nice days and a private car park for 7 cars at the rear of the property.

Pamela and David, have lived in the Aberdeen area all their lives. We have had many holidays in Scotland and are able to offer our holiday visitors a first hand knowledge of many places. We have owned Aurora for 15 years and have continually upgraded and renovated the property since arriving to offer our guests a lovely homely, quiet place to come to. David worked as a head chef so breakfasts are of a high standard.

Aurora Guest House built in 1880 is just over 1 mile from city centre in Aberdeen's West End in a street of beautiful Victorian granite buildings. 1.9 mile to station 1.7 miles to ARI and 1.5 miles RGU. Our dining room has a south facing aspect to the garden and open outlook towards the open 'Gramps' area in the distance. Bus route to city centre and Union Square and station are just across the road and we are on a direct bus route to Royal Deeside on our doorstep. The main ring road is just a short distance away making easy access whether you are travelling north south east or west.
