“The comfort of the room and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, particularly the Manager. The facilities are restricted because of Government regulations but that did not deter us from being satisfied with our stay.”

“It is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. They are having to keep to Government Restrictions relating to Covid-19 so they are not able to offer their usual, excellent breakfast. However, there are facilities to eat take away meals in a large dining room.”

“In very difficult circumstances, i.e. lockdown restrictions, the staff did all they could to make us as comfortable as possible. The rooms have been upgraded since our last visit and these have been very tastefully done. Despite being advertised on the Booking .com site, breakfast was not served due to the restrictions as the Clubhouse was closed and the rooms are in a different building. However, we were able to have takeaway meals from the town and permitted to use their kitchen facilities. We would stay again, even if the restrictions continued.”

“This property was so beautiful. We arrived late at night so I was a little anxious about getting the keys as there were no staff around ( due to the covid pandemic ) etc but it was easy , and we found our room no problem. The room is gorgeous and tranquil with a lovely view , the bed is like sleeping on a cloud. If I had to be really picky , I’d of liked one more tea bag. But that’s me trying to search for a problem here. It’s just gorgeous. ”

“The breakfast was very good and the lady who helped us order / bring it was excellent, very helpful. The location was good, with easy parking, not near a noisy road and walkable into town. The furnishings are well done and in good condition. The key collection after hours was straightforward. We liked being able to open the balcony doors. Room was a little on the small side but a reasonable price.”
