On the shores of Loch Alsh, Balmacara Hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Kyle of Lochalsh, the main crossing point to the Isle of Skye. Regular live traditional music is featured in the on-site pub, and free private parking is also available.

    Hello, It is possible to see the Northern lights on the Isle of Skye which is about 10 minutes away by car from the Hotel. November would be perfect as prime viewing months for the Northern lights is from October through to March. Best wishes, Leah.
