Reasonable amount of food outlets. I went to a place with family which was outside Radstock to eat. It is easy to get around by car but public transport is a bit scarce. For a small town it generates a lot of through traffic but it is situated between 2 cities

Really good food and large portions. Friendly bubbly staff. Land Lady very helpful with places to visit.
Suggested bus to Bath with our bus passes bus stop really close, we caught bus so didn't have any trouble of parking. Visited Wells on Market day. Pub not far away from Cheddar or Bath.
Even though they held two wakes while were staying there it didn't affect their service to locals or any other guests. Had a Parrott called Pee WEE
which was very entertaining.

This was an excellent choice as a base being midway from Bristol or Bath. There are eating places close to the Hotel.
Radstock was a mining town and there is a museum just across the road from the hotel.

if i had not paid online and in advance i would have refused to pay on leaving - I NEVER SLEP AT ALL due to the window being broken and not able to close - road traffic all night - I AM CONSIDERING ASKING FOR A REFUND
The staff was absolutely lovely and went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. The accommodations were attractive, updated, clean, and comfortable. The food served at the pub was delicious, and the menu was amply diverse. The coffee brewed in a French press each morning was always perfect, and complimented my choice of breakfast. The garden in the rear sitting area was beautiful, vibrant, well laid out, and nicely maintained, and the property is steeped in family history.
In short, I am looking forward to my next stay there.
I stayed here with my mum and sister for one night. We had a huge room with tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. The beds were comfortable. We ate dinner in the pub downstairs, there was a good choice on the menu and the food was cooked beautifully by the owner. There was a great selection at breakfast, a choice of cereals, followed by fruit compote, yoghurt, pancakes and/or cooked breakfast. We felt really at home here and this was due to the warm welcome we received, I would highly recommend staying here.
The host was very responsive - we had an internet problem on a Saturday over the Xmas weekend and he managed to contact an engineer and got it sorted out - first class.
We had seven persons staying (5 adults + 2 kids) whereas normally it sleeps 6 adults. The host was very accommodating.
The house is a very nice family space and was excellent for making Xmas lunch and entertaining later in the day.
Great to see all of the wildlife - deer and squirrels included.
Absolutely stunning property and grounds. Our room was really high spec, with everything spotless and clean. The room was enormous and had great little touches - fresh milk, lots of drawers and storage, and customisable atmospheric lighting. The booking system for the pool is a nice touch so you get exclusive access. The hosts recommended a great taxi service into Radstock. We loved our stay and are looking at coming back again next year!
Beautiful location, cosy, spacious, very clean and tidy. Perfect hosts who had a keen eye for detail. No complaints. Would be a perfect place for a summer staycation as there is a nice outside area where you can have a BBQ. Bath city centre is only a short drive away. We found a lovely little pub which done a delicious roast dinner called the The Fromeway in Radstock which is not far from the annexe at all.
Super Grand property in a fab location good size room wonderful grounds two good size swimming pools both heated
Ten minutes from nearest town ( Radstock)
Only 25 minutes from Bath recommend park n ride much less hassle
Fridge in room handy good size balcony
Nice towelling robes friendly owners
Easy to find and in a town centre location. I was a late arrival and the staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. As a low cost hotel my expectations were not the highest, but the room was warm, clean comfortable and did all I needed it to. The shower was excellent.
The hotel was so lovely! It was inside the cutest pub with the loveliest beer garden. The bedrooms were gorgeous and the bed was soooo comfy! We had such a nice sleep. Very good value for money and we had breakfast included. Staff was lovely as well - thank you!
Food - breakfast and dinner were excellent, staff very friendly and our dog was made very welcome. The building, restaurant and bar were lovely and the garden a delight. Location is very pleasant, with extensive views over the countryside from the garden.
very good breakfast - speedy and friendly service - beautiful dining space/ fixtures and fittings/ artwork - comfortable beds/ good linen - beautiful location/ lovely speckled hen running around the garden
Room was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Can't comment on breakfast, as I don't take breakfast in hotels.
