I used to live here so very happy to return for a more lane visit. It is an ideal place for families with good safe beaches, good travel facilities for access to other areas of Devon by bus or train, especially to Exeter’s excellent shopping. Not the most interesting of towns but good middle of the road unpretentious place to visit & enjoy.

Exmouth itself is an attractive holiday resort for all the family. Superb sandy beach with many facilities, wide range of hotels and restaurants, railway and buses. Many restaurants serve a wide variety of fish menus. One is able to walk and walk and enjoy the variety of houses, streets, special buildings, the market and the coffee/snack outlets. An extremely satisfactory area for all ages, albeit rather steep roads if one walks from the sea front upwards.

A small town with friendly atmosphere. Lots of good charity shops!
The town museum is worth a visit.
There is a mix of independent and high street shops and places to eat. We chose both.
Exmouth is very compact and within easy reach of the beach.

Excellent beach facilities especially out of season if you have a dog. Plenty of good restaurants. People seem very friendly. A fantastic park run along the seafront on Saturday mornings.
A really nice vibe to the town.
Stylish, comfortable, modern, fully furnished and with a fully-fitted kitchen. It's an almost new flat right in the centre of Exmouth with a secure entrance. Great location less than 5 minutes walk to the railway station. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner or hosts, and inside the flat they had thought of everything. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the mod cons, comforts and sparkling cleanliness on arrival. A fantastic place to stay.
lovely hotel in an ideal location in Exmouth. beautiful views across the beach and sea. the hotel is a little dated, but our room (superior sea view) was huge, clean, warm and with plenty of storage. tea and coffee making facilities. self serve buffet breakfast was plentiful and kept us fuelled up for the majority of the day!
there was a notice on arrival explaining an issue with the hot water - but to fair we didn’t have an issue.
Location was great and also love that we were able to park here. Was happy to pay the £10 for this.
The hotel isn’t modern but we liked that and the kids loved it too. The rooms are spacious and the little toiletries were lovely.
Staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was good and plenty of choice.
Even gave recommendations for places to eat.
It was just a fabulous place to stay.
The young staff here are exceptional (special thanks to Tiago) and helped my sisters and I cope and kept us cheerful during an extended stay with our mother in hospital. The hotel became a real home from home. The view from the comfortable & well-sized bedroom was spectacular. Way to go, Manor Hotel! Also the history of the hotel is so interesting and people should know in detail about it!
Location was good and as we had local family visiting the hotel and other family staying at the hotel for a special occasion, the bar was an excellent place to congregate and I need to make a special mention of Tom who was working the bar for most of the seven days we were there, he was excellent and made our stay go from abysmal to at least enjoying the evenings sitting there.
I liked returning to Yves town cottage as our first choice of place to stay when visiting family in Exmouth. It is very conveniently located - only 5 minutes walk from the train station and less than that to the shops. The wifi is reliable, enabling me to participate in a school governors video meeting during my stay. The kitchen is decently equipped and rooms clean.
The hotel has an 80s style to it but is very clean and tidy. The rooms look out to the beach and with the well looked after gardens you could easily mistake that you were in a different country. The staff were exceptionally happy to talk and try to accommodate and help in any way they could. Loved the place and will hopefully return.
A great place to stay, Estuary view is a lovely apartment, clean and spacious, with a wonderful view as the name suggests. It was close to all the amenities, including within walking distance of the beach, plus on site parking. Debbie was very helpful and prompt in her communications and greeted us with delicious cake!
The staff were exceptional, so warm and welcoming and we were upgraded for free as it was my birthday. That was such a lovely touch. Hotel was stunning and also views would have been if it were not for the rain and we arrived when it was dark. Hope to stay longer next time to explore properly.
A fantastic short stay in exmouth over the Christmas period. A large room. A great breakfast. We had a great view over the hotel garden that was completely covered in an amazing Christmas display. The location a short walk from the beach and town centre was perfect
The owners are just so friendly. They really can't do enough to help you. I have stayed here twice and am hoping to come back again next year. The location is fantastic right next to the sea front and Exmouth is a wonderful place to stay
The hotel is very well situated on the Exmouth promenade. The rooms were spacious and we were offered free parking. English breakfast in the morning was per expectations although the service could have been faster.
The accomodation was very comfortable, it was like home from home. Everything you needed was there and a pleasant surprise to have milk, tea & biscuits left for us. Exmouth is a great place.
A great place to stay, lovely host, very clean, well equipped and nicely furnished and maintained, very close to Exmouth, and easy walking to pubs and restaurants. Excellent of road parking
