Good location, plenty of parking, clean and comfortable room, nicely decorated and spacious communal areas

The room is spacious and clean. All the usual utilities

The location was perfect, within easy reach of a range of amenities in Leckhampton and Cheltenham. Parking was clear and plentiful. Rooms were excellent with an attention to detail rarely encountered. The lounge and garden facilities had been well thought out and provided a relaxing place to unwind before retiring. Fiona was welcoming and helpful and made our stay a perfect experience. Cannot recommend highly enough.

- Nice hotel and very helpful staff. - There is on-site parking which is really convenient. - Good location to explore Cotswolds

- Beautiful building with nice main sitting room. - Comfortable room. - Good breakfast buffet. - Very friendly staff. - Excellent automatic check-in box for check-in after closure of the reception.

Great location. Staff was nice but not knowledge about city, recommendations for dining, or the bill upon checkout. The registration process was very difficult. The phone operator could not understand English very well and was most confused about how the process should work. I almost cancelled all the reservations. I continued to receive emails about cancelled reservations and one that was booked verbally but never sent any confirmation. Thank goodness someone there caught that it was in the same name. Breakfast was delicious and varied.

Self checkin was brilliant. Room is above standard, excellent facilities and well stocked.

The hotel was home from home. Very welcoming. Outstanding and excellent location for walking to the centre and local to all amenities. Will definitely stay again.

Staff were absolutely lovely, so attentive! Offered a drink on arrival whilst showing us around the property and to our rooms, informing us on how the shower works despite it being very easy! Really helpful. The room was lovely although there was a lot of lady birds, not really a problem though just found it strange. Breakfast was amazing, sausages were lovely in particular. Again, staff were lovely at breakfast. Unfortunately as we were staying for my graduation we didn’t have much time to really make the most of everything as we were in a slight rush, wish I could have stayed longer and enjoyed everything properly! I also accidentally left my shoes there and they have been extremely kind to contact me about this and post them back to me as I had unfortunately left Cheltenham. Lovely overall!

The room we had (Out of Asia) was fantastic! Everything we could want and more. The decor was unusual and made for a more special stay than normal bland hotels. In general, a personal, light and airy hotel that was quiet and relaxing. The location is ideal for visiting my mother in a nearby care home. It is close to shops and cafes and, for us, is only a 20 minutes walk to town and so is ideal. It was also great being able to park the car.

Beaumont House was built in the 1850s as a private residence. It is the birth place of Captain Anketell Read. He was killed on the opening day of the battle of Loos, 25th September, 1915, and was subsequently awarded a posthumous VC. A blue plaque by the entrance commemorates his birth at Beaumont House. In the 20th century, for a period of time, the property was owned by a family who were the owners of Tilley Crumpets. The bakery closed in the latter part of the 20th century. Beaumont House is now run as a boutique guest house.
After a 20 year career in BP in London, Fiona Burke purchased Beaumont House in June 2018. Fiona has taken on the business with a view to modernising operations whilst continuing to offer fantastic customer service, something Beaumont's customers return for time and time again.
Whilst not in the town centre, we are just a 15 minute walk from the fashionable Montpellier area with its bars, boutiques and restaurants. Our local shopping street is Bath Road. It is a vibrant area offering a comprehensive selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. A little further you will find the Suffolks which is like a village in itself with more good restaurants including the 2 Michelin Star Champignon Sauvage. One minute walk to the number 12 bus stop with frequent departures to Gloucester - visit the Cathedral and Docks area with its Museums and Shopping Outlets.
