The place looks like very, very newly renovated. Everything inside was brand new. Including a brand new hairdryer. Too bad that I was just staying for one night. Would have liked to stay longer. There is a huge open seating outside if you want to have a dinner outside or just to relax and chill. Rooms are very cosy. Beds and bedsheets are super comfy. Owner really care about quality materials.
Coffee and tea provided in the kitchen too.
The neighbourhood looks very safe - residential area and quiet. Food eateries about 10 min drive away.

Lovely, compact, interesting city. Very friendly people.
Lovely, compact, interesting city. Very friendly people. Lovely restaurants, good food, excellent service. Lots of small businesses selling unusual items. Very easy to find your way around. The cathedral, castle, steep hill area & waterfront are particularly appealing.

There was little to like given we were there to attend a funeral. The hotel was acceptable as it has had a makeover recently. The service was very poor, no central heating, only one member of staff on duty at any one time (apparently they only have 3) Lincolnshire is a lovely county but this hotel certainly was not. We ate ghastly fish supper from close by fully clothed under the duvet because our room was soooocold .

Stayed in Sleaford to visit family so know it well.
Stayed in Sleaford to visit family so know it well. Haven't managed to reserve the apartment before but so glad we managed it on this occasion. Lovely and warm within the apartment and a good firm bed. Tea and coffee facilities and places close by to eat. Restaurants just minutes away and great cafe in the market place for a good breakfast. Parking was easy, just 100 yards away. The property is located on the main shopping area.

Lincoln is a beautiful city full of culture and shops, the perfect combination. There is a fantastic ambiance in the city so you enjoy it whatever your age and interests.
We loved our cottage as it was next to the castle and cathedral, we think the best area! For food we can highly recommend the Wig and Mitre as well as the real ale. The Magna Carta was great for the midweek quizzes. The Lincoln museum/Usher Gallery for the exhibitions and the Museum of Lincolnshire Life for excellent information about its military heritage as well as its recreation of different shops depicting bygone lifestyles at that time etc. The independent shops on steep street were excellent and provided something different gift wise yet the city shops below the castle were fantastic for clothes and general shopping. Lincoln has everything you could want!

Only visited skegness so cannot advise on the rest of Lincolnshire. Skegness was Brill, Grandkid's enjoyed the Donkey Rides, Food was great, Beaach was clean. Area had plenty of flowers and there were loads of things to do. Downside would be little entertainment through the weekdays, and good at the weekends. Great for people visiting for the weekend, but a little boring the rest of the week.

lincoln is an unexpected treasure, especially the quaint old top town around the cathedral and castle, with spectacular views from so many places. also, a lot more canals than i was expecting (in the low lying surrounding area). the hill up to the top is a challenge! plenty of shops, pubs and nice buildings in the lower town too.
