The live in owner Mike was incredibly sweet and very hospitable. To the point of offering me cab services when I couldn’t get to book a taxi that would get me into work on time. The double deluxe room with en suite was just lovely and included in-room continental breakfast selection with toaster kettle and microwave. Highly recommend.

Lovely room, spacious, large comfy bed, table & chairs, TV, Wifi. Breakfast was self-service continental in room, ideal for COVID but possibly more because many guests leave for Stansted at 4am! Tucked away just off a main road; copious instructions for finding it, not needed for us as Waze SatNav took as straight there.

  • hi we are coming up to the area for a wedding july 2022 and would need to book in around 10.30- 11am would this be possible please?

    You would be able to collect a key and drop bags but it would all be dependant on the previous booking leaving on time. Best bet would be to call us in the morning when you leave your location to check.

  • Thanks for responding. As you don't already cater for gluten free, perhaps it would be best for us to go elsewhere. Gluten is in any products containing wheat, barley, rye or oats so basically all the breakfast apart from fruit and yoghurt. He has to have gluten free versions of cereals, bread etc.

    Perhaps it would be better for you to let me know what he would like for breakfast rather than i purchase 2 loafs of bread, 4 different cereals and selection of pastries. Alternatively if he brings his own I can refund £5. Mike

  • For "Double Room with Private Bathroom", is the private bathroom inside the room? And if this room is located on the upper floors, what is the view and is it closer to the road? Thank you.

    Hello, The private bathroom is not in the bedroom it is 3 meters from bedroom door. All our rooms are on the first floor. This room has a view across a road which is about 20 meters away. Best wishes Mike

    You will have your own key so access is anytime but we obviously ask you to be aware of other guests and noise. Check out is strictly bt 10am.
