We have a luggage room where you can leave your bags if you arrive before check in time: and again after check out (until 22.00 on the day of departure). Luggage storage is free of charge.

Twin rooms are 'private': you are booking the whole room so don't have to share.

Bed linen is included. We do not provide towels, but have a small supply that we can lend to guests who have forgotten to pack one, subject to availability of course.

You will need to bring a padlock for our dorm lockers.

We have no curfew. After 11pm you just need to ring the doorbell and show your night pass to staff. We just ask that, as the hostel quiet time starts at 11pm, you keep other guests in mind if returning later.

Our kitchen is not open at the moment I am afraid. We have a temporary set up in a better ventilated area near reception (it has a toaster, kettle, microwave): ok for breakfast and heating things up, but not cooking a meal.

Hello! Yes! We do have an iron. The iron can be borrowed from Reception and used on the ironing board in our laundry room only. The iron cannot be taken to your bedroom. Hope this helps! Phil

Check in starts at 13.30. The building is closed until check in starts at 1.30pm. We have no luggage storage at the moment, no public toilets available, nowhere you can wait for check in. Hopefully things will be back to normal later in the summer.

We are operating at very limited capacity at the moment due to distancing guidelines so the number of dorm beds we have available is also limited. Sometimes there will be female only space, it depends on the night. Our beds do not have curtains.

On the days when we are open there is access to the building all day. However in Winter 2021 we're not planning to open 7 days a week so on your day of arrival there may be no access before check in, and no return after departure if we're closing up.

Check in for shared dorms closes at 23.00. Check in for private rooms, where you have booked all of the beds in a room, is possible after 23.00 - you just need to ring the doorbell when you get here.

If you book a quadruple with a private bathroom it is a room for 4, not shared with other guests. David

Bedding is provided: for reasons of hygiene we ask guests not to use sleeping bags at the hostel.

At the moment - September 2021 - we are not selling beds in shared dorms (while social distancing remains in place in NI). Generally in room descriptions online if it says "Bed in xxxxx Dormitory Room" that room is shared.
