Ilkley is a good location with plenty to see in and around the town. It is also conveniently located for visiting the Yorkshire Dales. Traffic queues into town from Skipton Road can be long at peak times but this results from town centre traffic lights and there being no bypass for use by through traffic.

A lovely old market town with various boutique shops and a good selection of eateries.
Recommend Bettys Tea rooms and to have some Cheeky Rascals a bit overpriced but as a one off a good experience.
Lots of places to walk and visit, we walked to the Cow & Calf rock formation.

Lovely little town at the northern extremes of West Yorkshire. A quality destination with plenty of history if you have time to explore. If not then there’s a plethora of great restaurants and bars to keep you occupied and well fed.

Ilkley is a perfect centre for touring the Dales, particularly Wharfedale. It is within easy reach of Skipton, Bolton Abbey, Appletreewick, Brimham Rocks, Harrogate, Otley and Keighley. Regular trains run to Leeds and Bradford. Easy reach of Leeds/Bradford Airport. Ilkley itself is a charming country town, situated at the foot of Ilkley Moor and the Cow and Calf Rocks. Good shopping, cinema, playhouse, and eateries (including a Bettys Tea Room!).
Ilkley Riverside Hotel was a great place to stay. It is located five minutes walk away from the town centre which is very convenient. It is also located right by the river, we had lovely Riverside walks every evening. After the restaurant closes about 9:30pm it is so quiet and peaceful. The hotel restaurant has some lovely food at great prices, we loved the atmosphere so much we ate at the hotel every night. The staff were all friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Perfect location in the centre of Ilkley, a two minute walk to shops, restaurants, pubs the train station and the Kings Hall, which we were visiting that evening. The Cresent Inn is beautiful inside and the suite we stayed in was large, clean, modern and extremely comfortable, especially the king size bed! Breakfast was included and was beautiful. Car parking was free too at the property. I would definately stay here again and would recommend to others.
The property had everything needed, very comfortable and clean. The owner communicated efficiently and kindly left some snacks and milk in the fridge. The instructions and directions to the studio were excellent. The studio is well located with a short walk to the town centre.
The property was a Regency town house in the very centre of Ilkley. It was beautifully decorated and furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was warm, comfortable and quiet, and the en suite bathroom was also very pretty. The location could not be faulted.
Lovely feel to the house. It was easy to find, great location, clean, comfortable, warm, and well equipped.
The bath was fabulous for a deep relaxing soak.
We will definitely be returning to this property if we visit Ilkley again.
Very clean and well appointed. Good having a parking place particularly in Ilkley. We really only slept there as our daughter had our house in Otley for two nights. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a break.
The Cow and Calf rocks are very special to me, I have very happy memories of climbing to the top with my children and having fun on ilkley moor. The hotel is perfectly positioned , with beautiful views all around .
Lovely hotel very close to the Cow and Calf Ilkley Moor. The room was very clean, and well stocked. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent - would recommend staying here.
Beautiful pub. Very cozy and log fires. Excellent breakfast and lunch. Very nice staff. Superb location on Ilkley Moor - amazing views (when the snow eased off!). We would stay again.
ideal place to stay. good food, central for everything. payable car park at rear of the hotel . Would highly recommend.
No lift so there are stairs if your mobility is bad.
The location was great for the centre of Ilkley and the fact they allowed Dogs . The bed was large and extremely comfortable and the bathroom was excellent .
