The building was incredible, room so very comfortable and the welcome we received from our hosts was excellent. We were the only guests staying on that night but the breakfast the next day was amazing. Food cooked perfectly and a wonderful choice.

As a single traveller, I'm used to staying alone and being put in small, cramped spaces. However, the room I had, Gras, was exceptional and Jo (and Nye!) made me feel so welcome and at home. Absolutely everything is thought of for guests and more! Nothing is too much trouble and the details Jo thinks of are outstanding. From putting a wine glass in my room when she spotted the wine bottle to giving me a pack of painkillers when I jarred my back hiking and even packing me an amazing breakfast parcel for my journey home with a lovely handwritten card. I can't wait to go back and I'm so grateful for how well I was looked after.

Bethsaida is a unique 4* graded B&B in a former Baptist Chapel. Retaining many of its original features you will relax in a room named after its original stained glass window, and sleep in a bed with a pew headboard. After that good nights' rest join us for a freshly prepared Welsh breakfast in the dining room behind the former pulpit. The sense of serenity is still retained in this ideal, purpose redesigned accommodation.

After discovering the beautiful village of St Dogmaels and the stunning former chapel of Bethsaida my husband, Tony and I decided to change all our life plans and create a beautiful home and place to stay for us and our family and guests in the B&B. We love visiting local places; local beaches of Poppit, Gwbert, Ceiwbr, the Wild Life Centre, Cardigan Castle, St Dogmaels Abbey to name just a few. I love craft work (be it making my own or enjoying the skills of others), as well as being part of a fantastic local community. In opening the B&B I've swapped to a new career in leisure having had over 25 years in human resource management and I'm enjoying every minute of it. Having had a people focus in my former roles, it has been great meeting visitors and guests from all different backgrounds and ideologies and I can't wait to welcoming you here to Bethsaida. St Dogmaels is an historical village on the Northern border of Pembrokeshire. In a rural location you will enjoy the quieter pace of life in this area within a friendly Welsh community. In the centre of the village you will find the former Abbey ruins and Coach House where the local producers' market is held each Tuesday morning. Just a little further afield, but still in walking distance are Poppit sands with its beautifully undisturbed beach, or Cardigan town with its recently restored castle. For those of you who like to stretch their legs we are on the doorstep of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Walk, with the Ceredigion Coastal Walk starting in Cardigan. This is an area where you enjoy a holiday doing as little or as much as is right for you. This B&B is perfect for families, those looking for an activity break, or anyone needing a little 'me time'
