The bungalow is lovely, very well kept and came with everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable and it was dog friendly. Easy to access and space for 2 cars to comfortably park outside. Property is large and we had plenty of space to relax in. Dining table was nice and big meaning we could play games as a family together.

We are a small local holiday let company that has lived in the area for over twenty years. We love where we live and we can be found, cycling, running or walking along the lovely beaches that dot our coast, enjoying the quiet lanes on our bicycles or running on the trails. We love supporting local events and can share our local secrets if looking for something different, to enjoying local one day courses with local artists, birdwatching trips at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, or wine tasting at one of the many vineyards that are located in the 1066 area. Our aim is to offer a truly personal service to make your stay at one of our holiday cottages as relaxing as we possibly can. Any queries or issues you may have during your stay, we are here to help. Special occasion, need help planning your surprise, we know the best florists, bakers and restaurants to book, just ask. Jacqui has worked in the hospitality sector for over twenty years and she can't wait to welcome you to the cottages and apartments that we manage.

Big Sky is a newly renovated spacious 3 bedroom holiday bungalow nestled down a private lane, in the seaside village of Camber Sands, only 3 miles from Rye. Perfectly positioned for a beach holiday only 5 minutes away from the property or exploring Rye & the surrounding area. Hastings, Ashford and Battle are a 30 minutes drive away. Close to, many English vineyards, historic houses and gardens and beautiful castles. Dog friendly so the family pet can stay too for an additional fee of twenty five pounds. The open plan living space is a vibrant , relaxing space with woodburner for cosy evenings in. Enclosed private landscaped garden with decked dining area and fire pit. Decked area overlooking stream to the rear of the property and large pond. Big Sky is a dog friendly and children friendly holiday cottage but guests must be aware of the pond and the stream behind, so never leave children unattended in the garden. 3 double bedrooms, one with ensuite shower room and a family bathroom. Kitchen with separate utility area. Parking for 3 cars.

Neighborhood info

Located in the seaside village of Camber, the property is a short walk from the beautiful sandy beach with seasonal life guards on duty. The village of Camber is a mecca for water-sports and very popular for kite surfing from Jury's Gap, a 5 minute walk from the property. Rye Watersports, offers lessons on sailing, windsurfing and paddle boarding and is a a short drive away. There are several small convenience shops a short walk away, along with a restaurant, several cafes, a wine bar and village pub. The historic town of Rye is 3 miles from the holiday home and has a full calendar of events happening throughout the year, from 'Scallop festival', in February and a very popular Jazz festival in the summer. A stay at Strand House is a great base for exploring all that East Sussex and Kent have to offer, from stately homes and gardens, to castles and nature reserves. Easy to reach from Europe and only 45 minutes from Dover ferry ports and Eurotunnel.
