Excellent professional and friendly B & B with great breakfast. Genuinely dog friendly (but you wouldn't know dogs were allowed, everything was absolutely spotless.) Definitely recommend, sorry we only got to stay one night!

We felt very welcomed, the room was small but spotless and well maintained. The bed was extremely comfy with additional pillows if needed. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The addition of free parking was the icing on the cake.

  • Is there anywhere close for evening meal

    There is a pub in the village, just across the road, that serves food Wednesday to Sunday. There are more pubs and restaurants a few miles away.

The Black Swan Guest House was originally a coaching inn dating back to 1760. It was completely renovated in the mid 1990s and has been in business ever since. In addition to six guest rooms on the first floor in the main house, there are three ground floor rooms in the converted stable block, two of which are family rooms. All rooms are equipped with Freeview TV, alarm clock radios, teach and coffee making facilities, and hairdryers. There is free wireless internet access throughout the property. There is also a private car park.
