“I was doing the paras 10 in Catterick garrison so this hotel was close by to travel to . All the staff were welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us . The food in the restaurant was 5 star and all the other customers there were very friendly and pointed us in the right direction for walking trails. Definitely recommend this hotel and I’ll be visiting again next year for the next paras 10 ”

“It was in a very pretty and quiet area in a cute little town. It was close to the Dales. The staff gave me good suggestions of places to go and see, they were very attentive and helpful.The dining and breakfast room is very nice and light.The dinner was beautiful! I had a seafood Risotto and then you can sit in the bar/lounge after dinner and it's very cosy. My room was a good size with a big bed and a good size bathroom. Everything was very clean. Check in and out was very easy. I would definitely stay there again for longer. ”

“Really nice country pub a couple of miles outside Masham, in a beautiful village, surrounded by stunning countryside. Comfortable, well appointed rooms in what must be converted farm buildings annexed to the pub itself. There’s also a large caravan site to the rear, but it wasn’t at all intrusive. Brisk, efficient staff, excellent food. Hard working duty managers take the trouble to learn your name, and use it. ”
