IrelandWe had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay! You can tell from the moment you step though the door that Steve and Joyce are focused on delivering a fabulous experience to their guests. You can see and taste the quality of the breakfast offerings and it’s such an added bonus that eggs are provided by their very own chickens. We dined in on our second night stay and opted for the 5 Course menu. Hands down the best meal myself and my husband have had in a very long time. The salad leaves from the garden was a nice touch. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Fresh milk in the fridge along with some bottled water was appreciated. Everything was spotless and good to see measures which were introduced due to Covid -19 remain as a good standard. The real stars of the show however were the welcome party - Murphy & Maggie (resident dog & cat) who I could have easily taken home! Can’t wait to visit again soon!

United KingdomI've been looking for a place like this for a while now, a place where you can just relax, escape, enjoy the peace and quiet while being pampered. Blackwell House is just that and even more. Everything is perfect, from the décor to the food, the warm welcome and nice chats with Steve, even the cats and dog make us feel like we're at home and we enjoyed their visits a lot. The rooms are spectacular, we had everything we needed, from nice biscuits to q-tips. The garden is beyond gorgeous, with plenty of different spots to sit and relax. The food was delicious, fine-dining level if not more. It really feels like a haven and we cant wait to be back!

Blackwell House is located in the countryside bordering County Down and County Armagh, 5 miles from Banbridge. This beautiful country house offers lovely rooms, a restaurant and a garden.
The individually decorated rooms at Blackwell House have elaborate design with features including fine wooden furnishings, large beds, fireplaces and embossed wallpaper. All rooms have 600-thread Egyptian cotton sheets, luxury bathrooms with bathrobes, slippers and toiletries, as well as free WiFi, a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee-making facilities.
A range of traditional dishes is served in the elegant dining room, and you can also relax in the comfortable lounge area, or conservatory.
