If you wanted to go into Blairgowrie which wasnt too far there were lots of local taxis available if you didnt want to take the car. Plenty of takeaways which delivered to the reception at the site. All in all very good value for money.

  • Hi there, I'm just wondering if we had to cancel our stay due to corona virus restrictions, would there be any option for a refund without a big charge. We were looking to stay from the 8th to the 15th of August but want to be sure of this before we do. Regards and take care. Anthony

    Hello! If the government announced a further lockdown, we could look at changing the dates of your booking, offer a credit note for any monies paid or offer a refund if neither of those options were suitable.

    With all of our Hot Tub Lodges, the Hot Tubs are situated to the side of the lodges behind wooden partitions for privacy..

  • We are planning to attend a sporting event between 27/06/21 and 02/0721. If this is cancelled and hence our stay do u take 30% still.

    Deposit is taken at time of booking and balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival. You have the option at this time to move or accept a credit note. Refunds are only issued in the event of the park being closed.

    Good Afternoon There are no bar or restaurant facilities on site. The centre of Blairgowrie is less than a 10 minute walk where you will fine many restaurants and bars

    Yes, all bedding is supplied in sealed packs. To ensure minimal handling of materials by our housekeeping team we are currently asking that guests make up the beds on arrival and strip them again on departure.

  • Hi Do you have a lodges with a wash machine and walk in showers my dates are 5th to 11th September Thanks Dave

    All of our lodges with hot tubs have washing machines inside the accommodation but there is laundry facilities onsite and yes they have walk-in showers as well.

The family started the business when Colin & Margaret purchased Blairgowrie Holiday Park in 1981. With the foresight to develop a top quality, all year round holiday business, they invested heavily in the park. The Woods then extended their portfolio with the purchases of further sites including; Lomond Woods Holiday Park, Loch Lomond in 1994, Corriefodly Holiday Park, Perthshire in 2000, Deeside Holiday Park, Aberdeenshire in 2008 and finally Balgair Castle Holiday Park, Stirlingshire in 2010 (renamed Campsie Glen Holiday Park in Jan 2016). Colin has spent his entire career in the caravan holiday business and he is delighted to be followed by his daughters, Rachel, Kirsty and finally Sarah following their time at university. Having spent their childhoods on holiday parks and their formative years “learning the ropes” they are extremely well equipped to take the business forward and are a motivation and inspiration to the older generation.

Colin and Margaret Wood purchased Blairgowrie Holiday Park over thirty years ago and built the business up over the years to finally achieve Visit Scotland “5-star” status in 1990. Be it summer or winter, you can be sure of a warm welcome at Blairgowrie Holiday Park. Blairgowrie has long been a favourite destination with visitors to the heart of Highland Perthshire. Within a half-hour's drive of the park to the south is the historic town of Perth and to the east, the "City of Discovery", Dundee. By contrast, the park is only a short drive from the peace and tranquility of some of the most beautiful glens of Scotland, with their rolling hills and sparkling, clear rivers. If you are interested in walking in the area, find out more about the Cateran Trail, a 64 mile circular walk which starts and finishes in Blairgowrie. If golf is your passion; within a five miles radius there are six Golf Courses including the Lansdowne Championship Course at Blairgowrie Golf Club, host to major PGA and SGU events.
