Sue and Chris look forward to welcoming you to their historic award winning classic contemporary 5* B&B; where beds are comfortable, showers are powerful and breakfast is delicious! Guests can enjoy a farm-to-table, locally sourced artisan and home-made breakfast cooked fresh for you each day on our AGA. Every room has an ensuite, tea and coffee making facilities and a silent mini-fridge. There is a licenced honesty bar in the drawing room with a wide selection of drinks for your pre- or post-dinner enjoyment. We have an acre of gardens for you to enjoy with plenty of seating. Our walled kitchen-garden provides some of your breakfast items and flowers. There are many local pubs around and some “fine dining” restaurants a short drive away. There are also plenty of contemporary restaurants in Gloucester Docks. 5 minutes to easy access major roadways for exploring the area from the Cotswolds to Wales all within reach of a short drive. It is possible to book Blaisdon House for exclusive use, please email or call us for our packages. Shhhh…….We have created a sanctuary where adults can come to relax and enjoy some peace, therefore, only children over 11 please. See you soon!
Chris and Sue are experienced hoteliers, who sold their hotel back at the beginning of 2015 for a new life in the country and all the benefits that go with it. We are very happy to have downsized, and look forward to running four rooms in our rambling old vicarage which we have updated and made into a lovely traditional B&B with contemporary facilities and lots of extra little touches to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. We are always happy to answer your questions and help if we can - just let us know.
We are almost central to the county with Cheltenham, Gloucester and Ross on Wye all short distances away. Blaisdon itself is situated between May Hill and The Royal Forest of Dean, with all the outdoor activites you can imagine; hiking, cycling, adventure centres offering all sorts, caves and ancient buildings to explore. If you like walking then there are some great places to explore around the village and beyond.
