excellent place to stay, the host really made you welcome and plenty of info about the area.

Brilliant rooms and staff couldn’t have asked for more

Beautiful rooms, not wastefully over-equipped. For example, no small plastic bottles of toiletries, instead there were large pump bottles of local ethical products. Staff very friendly and sociable, breakfast provided plenty of choice and avoided unnecessary waste.

Warm reception on arrival. Great room and breakfast was amazing. The Kings Head pub in the village does great pub food if you don't want to travel too far.

Breakfast was superb with exceptionally delicious Welsh bacon and the owner provided some lovely homemade Welsh cakes, The B&B is a 1 minute car drive to the beautiful Gower seaside with its lovely sand dunes and a wonderful view of the Worm's Head. The owner was very knowledgeable, friendly and interesting telling us about the history of Wales and the local areas to visit and good restaurants and pubs in the area.

Beautiful b & b lovely decor and very clean. Under floor heating was so cosy. Daffyd was a fabulous host and breakfast was fab. Would definitely recommend , also close by to lovely beaches .

Everything ! Great bed, great breakfast , great location, and great host!

The breakfast was great with lots of choice, and the bathroom was lovely with a powerful rainforest shower. Good location to go for walks and drive to some wonderful beaches.

The proprietor was welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was good, rooms comfortable.

Great place to stay, rooms very comfy, breakfast was fantastic, cooked perfectly. Couldn't have picked a better location, near to the beach and pub in walking distance. Wonderful sunsets and great walks nearby. Dafydd the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable and also helpful in suggesting places to visit with my 82 year old Mother in Law. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Gower.

Host Information
Llangennith is at the very end of the Gower peninsula and is perfect for those wishing to get away from it all. There are a number of great pubs serving food in the area, with the ever popular King's Head located right in the heart of the village some 150m away. Public transport, especially out of peak season, is sporadic and the area is best visited by car to enable you to get the best out your stay. The village does not have a grocery store, although from late spring to end of September there are two shops selling basic provisions located in both the nearby caravan parks. The village does have a surf shop where boards and wet suits can be rented. Two garages can be found within a 15m drive. Please note there are no cashpoints in the immediate area and so bringing sufficient cash might be a good idea. Swansea with a range of services expected of a city is around 20mins drive away. The largest local supermarket is to be found in the village of Penclawdd some 10 miles away.
