We LOVED our stay at Bloomfield House, I would recommend it to anyone. The owners go above and beyond to make everything comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was stunning and so comfortable. The walk to town was only 10 mins, and the breakfast was exceptional.

Very charming and a very pleasant surprise upon arrival. Host’s were very kind and helpful , making us feel welcomed and comfortable. Would highly recommend this property in every way. A great experience!

Great staff, they tried to meet every need and request. Wonderful hosts.

It was well maintained and in a good location. An easy walk to Bath sites but quiet. The room had a nice size bathroom and closet, which isn't always the case in an older B&B property.

We did not have breakfast. The room was very comfortable and had lovely views.

Perfect - Thankyou for being delightful hosts in your delightful establishment.

Comfortable, warm and stylish room looking over Bath. A mile walk downhill to the city centre with options to get an inexpensive bus or uber back up if necessary. Spotlessly clean. Great breakfast. Environmentally considerate with efforts to reduce plastic waste etc. Very friendly with information and advice about local restaurants and attractions if required.

Excellent full English breakfast with well sourced ingredients . Lovely freshly ground coffee . Sour dough and rye bread.

Lovely welcome, delicious breakfast, with plenty of options, and a plethora of recommendations for local restaurants. Very much enjoyed seeing dogs and cats wandering around too during my visit. Very friendly and chatty hosts.

Amazing place to stay. Lovely and homely and such friendly owners. Such cute animals also! I would definitely stay again.

Bloomfield House is a lovely old Georgian building with an elliptical hand painted entrance hall. We have 6 guest bedrooms in total, with different characters but all keeping the traditional feel of an old building. All the rooms have en-suite facilities, tea/coffee, hairdryer, toiletries, TV. Breakfast is served until 11 am at the weekends but is limited to 6 guests to allow for social distancing. If you want to have breakfast you will need to contact us either prior to booking or immediately after to see if there is space. We do not currently serve breakfast during the week and our prices reflect this. We can recommend a nice cafe on the way into town that serves breakfast when we cannot. As the rooms are on the top floor all have far reaching views.
Rob and I, Karen, work from home, we have 5 children, but most have left the nest now. We have 1 friendly dog and several cats (those these are not allowed in the guests rooms I hasten to add!) Robert is a social and environmental sustainability consultant and I run the bed and breakfast. We spend what little free time we have walking the dog and fixing the world.
The best thing about our neighbourhood is that it quiet. The house is set back from the road so all our rooms are also quiet. We have a good local pub, a restaurant or two and a small shopping area within a 5 minute walk so if you ever need anything you can get it. You can dip into the hustle and bustle of Bath city centre and then come back for a peaceful nights sleep. We have a generous driveway but even when it is full the on street parking is free.
