Under the current cleaning mate, the hotel is taking great precautions to keep the property clean and are constantly disinfecting. Staff aware, wearing masks, people keeping distance. Bowood House and grounds are a great day out for the family. Adventure playground and breath taking views make everyone in the family happy! Great place for a weekend away

We stayed one night on the way down to see family. We knew the spa/pool had restricted times for children so we made sure to arrive in time for the family swim. The pool and spa were lovely and our room was spacious. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and it had a good children’s menu. A table next to us sent a couple of their dishes back but we enjoyed our food. We had a 630 booking and I noticed by 8/830 the staff were struggling with a full restaurant. However the staff were polite and overall we really enjoyed it and wished we’d stayed for an extra night.

We loved the spa which we accessed for the full day on the day of checkout at no extra cost. We stayed in a standard room which was huge with a lovely bathroom, air-con and beautiful views.   • Hi, We are a group of 2 families who are wanting to book a stay in August. Can I please ask which rooms are suitable for families? Family 1 = 2 adults, 3 kids (8, 5 and 2 years) Family 2 = 2 adults and 2 kids (8 years and 5 years). We are looking at the most economical way please. Thanks

  • Hello. What facilities are not available due to the current crisis? Also is this changing from week to week?

    In the spa the steam rooms and sauna are currently closed due the current situation and also the house remains closed, however the gardens is open.

  • Are all the spa facilities open thanks

    The spa facilities are open for hotel residents. The pool is open every hour from 8am till 7pm for 55minute slots. Treatments are also being held. These slots are limited, and will need to be booked in advance. The sauna and steam rooms remain shut

  • I would like to come with my mum & 16 year old daughter, do you have a room that can accommodate all three of us?

    As per the Government update on 30th December 2020, the hotel will not be open while Wiltshire is in Tier 3.
