This is a lovely home that you share common space with other guests. The house is beautiful and comfortable. You host and hostess are wonderful people that will be over backward to help you. If you want to do your own cooking the kitchen is well equipped. There's even a hot tub for relaxing after a day of exploring Skye.

The Brae Cottage is a great location for traveling the whole of Isle of Skye. Our room was the one downstairs. It has a private entrance and a huge, modern bathroom. The bed was a tad hard, as I like a soft bed, but the entirety of the cottage was warm and inviting. It was fun intermingling with the other guests, especially for breakfast. The hot tub and available parking are a plus too. Angie, the caretaker, gave us great travel ideas. I highly recommend Brae Cottage fir your stay.

The rooms were spacious and clean and the house was in a stunning location. The owner was a lifesaver as we’d been camping out in foul weather. Very kind, helpful and friendly.   • Is this accommodation still shared during covid? Or only one booking allowed?

    Following Scottish Government guidelines, as long as each household has their own room and bathroom and the shared areas are sanitised daily, Brae Cottage is able to take up to 3 households

  • Hi, I am interested in booking the cottage between (check in) 8th June - (check out) 11th June. I see the cottage is a shared space, is this still the case just now with COVID? will there be others staying in the cottage during these dates. normally this wouldn't be an issue but need to query it

    Thanks for your question. Shared areas are sanitised regularly and social distancing required in these areas. Currently no one else booked in on 8th and 9th June

  • Hi looking at availability fri 6 aug to sun/mon - how does sharing of the bathroom and use of the hot tub work?

    We have social distancing in the shared areas within the property and only one household at any one time in the hot tub

  • Hi, I am travelling with my 2 sons and although this is a double room only, I would like to ask you if it would be ok for the 3 of us to stay in the double bed. It is proven difficult to find a place in Skye and my children are really keen to stay there. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    There are still rooms available for 14th November. Hot tub only available if only one household staying. For now, there are no other bookings for that time. You could request exclusive use to be sure that hot tub would be available
