Excellent location great staff, everyone so helpful, great service will definately be back.

David United Kingdom

Great food ,location and excellent friendly staff. Missed not having music (due to covid rules in Scotland) we were told they normally have a great October music festival . Enjoyed our stay .Great base for exploring the area .

Wendy United Kingdom

Everything the location the service the food the very friendly staff could fault nothing.

Ronnie United Kingdom

The staff were first class throughout from the chef, to the owner and all the waiting staff! The steak pie was one of the best I have ever had too! Room was more than sufficient for my 1 night stay, such a shame with Covid that there was no live music as bet it would have been bouncing! However, the make shift marquee out the back (put up with a days notice!) meant that I could enjoy and innis and Gunn or 4, followed by a couple whiskies to end the evening! Looking forward to my next jaunt up north to stay once more!

Luke United Kingdom

View was beautiful could not have had a better view.

Linda United Kingdom

Great location, easy to find, easy to park. Lovely view of the sea and sand dunes. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, warm, friendly and helpful. We ate dinner there one night too and the food was great.

Diane United Kingdom

Room was on 2nd floor on entry it looked small, but going down two steps it opened out to a good size (single) good sized window with terrific view. Lots of stairs so not suitable for all, very good breakfast. Very good engaging staff.

David United Kingdom

Excellent location Great service Good breakfast Very decent bar and restaurant

Peter United Kingdom

the rooms are clean and comfy, breakfast is very good and the fact that this is rooms in a very good pub means you are in the right place for some of the best beer int the region. Room 9 has excellent sea views

With stunning, uninterrupted sea views over Nairn’s beach and the Moray Firth, this comfortable family-run hotel offers free WiFi and an award-winning bar with a range of real ales.

In the heart of the town of Nairn, Braeval Hotel is a great base from which to visit the Highlands of Scotland. A charming, traditional pub, the hotel’s Bandstand Beer and Music Festival was awarded finalist in the Scottish Hospitality Award's 'Scottish Festival of the Year 2016' and CAMRA District Pub of the Year 2016. The Braeval has 9 real ale and cider hand pumps and is Cask Marque accredited.

The hotel's Sea View Restaurant offers fresh seafood, steaks and traditional Scottish cuisine, and was a finalist in the Scottish Hospitality Award's 'Restaurant of the Year 2016'. The cosy guest lounge features an open fire.

The en suite rooms are decorated in a comfortable style. All rooms have TVs, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and radio alarm clocks. Some of the rooms have sea views.

A full, traditional cooked Scottish Breakfast is included in the price.

Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.1 for a two-person trip.

An inside look at Braeval Hotel

The Braeval is a Victorian villa located overlooking Nairn links and beach. As you would expect, the rooms vary in size and shape and each has its own character. The lounge bar has an wood burning stove and the restaurant has spectacular sea views. We're very excited about awards recognition this year. Our Bandstand Restaurant is a finalist in "Restaurant of the Year 2016" Scottish Hospitality Awards and the Bar won CAMRA Badenoch & Strathspey District Pub of the Year 2016. Our annual Bandstand Beer & Music Festival is finalist in the "Scottish Festival of the Year 2016"
