It’s location, and the layout of the hotel was good. Bright airy rooms, and I especially liked the bath tub in the bedroom area, that was a nice touch.

We were upgraded for free as it was the day before the national second lockdown. The hotel service was brilliant- with complementary alcohol in the room as well. The wait staff in the restaurant were also brilliant and gave us champagne on the house as they were unable to serve some dishes that evening. They went out of their way to make the evening special.

Excellent location to give up the car for a while and explore on foot. Lots of local attractions and markets, bars and restaurants and the SS Great Britain visitor centre which is excellent and a must even if you have a slight interest in English history and engineering. Facilities at hotel are good, lovely breakfast and my wife had “fantastic” spa experience.

The hotel was AMAZING... we were up graded to a suite which was soooo comfortable and charming. The breakfast was delicious and nothing too much trouble. The best location to get to the best bars and restaurants despite time restrictions this break as fantastic. The spa was very small and I feel maybe too many people in at once given the current pandemic. But this is the only small concern. We will definitely be back, thank you for making it a memorable stay, especially as our wedding/honeymoon plans had changed so much this felt special. Regards Mr & Mrs Troupe

What do we do about parking? We are coming from a long way!

The cost is around £ 25 per day without discount. You can park your car and on check out time ask reception desk for the discounts voucher which you will need to get the discount at the pay machine at the car parking. If your car is higher than 1.9 metres we suggest using the open car parking by the M-Shed museum, Princes Wharf, Wapping Road, BS1 4RN. We have a 20% discount voucher available for the Nelson Street NCP car park near by to the Hotel. This car park is payable upon departure, you can receive a voucher from the Receptionists anytime you need one.

Hi there, if we book for late December (between 21-24th) will we be able to avail of the spa facilities and are there any limitations (ie book in advance/ time limitations?). We are really hoping for a spa getaway, but completely understand the current restrictions. Many thanks,

The current restrictions are due to social distancing we can't have as many people in there at once so we have to limit peoples use to an hour per day, which you do need to call the spa before and pre-book in a time slot. Kind regards,
