Fantastic location and pleasant quiet surroundings.

We chose the property for the location as it was central to the area we wished to visit. Good communication both before and on the day we were due to arrive. Very nice welcome pack with milk and basic essentials on arrival. Comfortable property and good info on Covid with plenty of hand gel available. Given the fire damage last year some amenities were not available but the central heating was on despite the mention of electric heaters on Booking.com. Very pleased with our stay. Oh, and don't get too friendly with Chloe, she will be waiting outside the door for treats when you wake up next day!

    Thanks for your query. Our already stringent cleaning between guests is now upgraded and every cottage will be thoroughly sanitised. Public areas too.

The farm has been run by the Harvey family and open to the public since 1982. We are pleased to be having second and third generations of the same families returning to stay with us.

Set in the stunning Wray valley in the Dartmoor National Park, Budleigh Farm is the perfect base to explore the beautiful county of Devon and, further afield, the rolling hills of the Southwestern peninsula of England A short distance from the historic market town of Moretonhampstead, we are a working sheep farm and our granite self-catering cottages are well equipped. The heated pool is open May to September.

Neighborhood info

Half a mile from Budleigh Farm is the historic market town of Moretonhampstead, a friendly local hub for arts and crafts, with welcoming pubs, art gallery and shops. There is also a motor museum and information centre. We are half an hour from the ancient city of Exeter, with its famous cathedral and welcoming provincial atmosphere. Further afield can be found Southwest attractions like the Eden project and Land's End.
