Burnbank was built in 1865. It was used for many years as the British Telecom Exchange. The house has undergone a renovation late 2022 to create 2 Sea View, En-Suite Rooms which we welcome you to stay in. Both rooms have free WiFi and a Smart TV with Freesat, A kettle, teas and coffees. Enjoy our Scottish cooked breakfast with, where possible, locally sourced produce. Alternatively, we offer a continental breakfast. Our dining room shares the same sea view as the bedrooms. There is no parking directly in front of the house, the public parking area starts from next door and along Breadalbane Street. Their are 6 steps at the entrance to the garden, although we do have easier access via the back of the property.
John has lived in Tobermory since 2007. Along with his partner, Robert, they have occupied Burnbank since 2019. Friendly and happy to help with any queries you might have. Happy to help you with bookings for restaurants or day trips.
In the pretty town of Tobermory, Burnbank BnB has great sea views across Tobermory Harbour, Calve Island, the Sound of Mull and the distant Morvern Mountains. The house is situated in the upper part of Tobermory, Just a short walk down the Back Brae, situated across the road from the house, takes you down to the towns Main Street, where you will find Shops, Restaurants and Bars. There are also some lovely short walks. You can walk along to the lighthouse or up to Aros Park. We have many other amazing places to offer if travelling by car, which we would be happy to advice you on.
