“Definitely the BEST place we stayed at while in the UK! Beautiful home in a charming village. Amazingly adorned rooms with comfortable beds with luxurious comforters. We enjoyed strolling the trails just outside the property. The trails go either through the town or along a stream with a lock and wildlife. We even saw a nesting pair of swans! Outstanding tea and pastries upon arrival and the hosts were so friendly that we felt like family instantly! The breakfast was UNBELIEVABLE: platter upon platter of delicious pastries, jellies, yogurts, and fruits, as well as a delicious plate of English breakfast. There is no way the breakfast could have been any better. The majority of my party was vegetarian, and they even prepared vegetarian breakfast options. And...since we visited near Easter, they surprised my kids with chocolate Easter eggs. We all loved our stay!”

“Regrettably my last-minute stay was for only one night, but during that time I felt like the Lord of the Manor! After a warm welcome by the charming owner Romney, she served afternoon tea and mince pies in the drawing room. The building and rooms retain many original features and are very comfortably appointed. And the included continental breakfast had more choices than I have ever witnessed before. There was also the option of a cooked breakfast. And it is only 300 metres along a tarmac track to the River Thames at picturesque Buscot Lock and Weir. I will return at some time, I’m sure, to take advantage of its facilities while walking some of the Thames Path, and to meet Romney again. ”
