The hostess is super sweet, friendly and helpful. Nice romantic 4poster bed, comfy, but spare bed was a bit small and hard. Shared bathrooms, but that was fine, big and comfy. Very good bf. Very romantic style. Big garden. Picturesque.
MaltaAn unexpected stay turned out to be a pleasant experience.
United KingdomDefinitely the BEST place we stayed at while in the UK! Beautiful home in a charming village. Amazingly adorned rooms with comfortable beds with luxurious comforters. We enjoyed strolling the trails just outside the property. The trails go either through the town or along a stream with a lock and wildlife. We even saw a nesting pair of swans! Outstanding tea and pastries upon arrival and the hosts were so friendly that we felt like family instantly! The breakfast was UNBELIEVABLE: platter upon platter of delicious pastries, jellies, yogurts, and fruits, as well as a delicious plate of English breakfast. There is no way the breakfast could have been any better. The majority of my party was vegetarian, and they even prepared vegetarian breakfast options. And...since we visited near Easter, they surprised my kids with chocolate Easter eggs. We all loved our stay!
United States of AmericaGreat location. Wonderful house and garden. Nice host
United KingdomSet in a beautiful location tranquil location whata lovely place to stay . The Warmth and friendliness of Rommy and Dave made for a very relaxing stay . We shall be returning in the new year and will also highly recommend this B&B to all our friends
United KingdomRegrettably my last-minute stay was for only one night, but during that time I felt like the Lord of the Manor! After a warm welcome by the charming owner Romney, she served afternoon tea and mince pies in the drawing room. The building and rooms retain many original features and are very comfortably appointed. And the included continental breakfast had more choices than I have ever witnessed before. There was also the option of a cooked breakfast. And it is only 300 metres along a tarmac track to the River Thames at picturesque Buscot Lock and Weir. I will return at some time, I’m sure, to take advantage of its facilities while walking some of the Thames Path, and to meet Romney again.
United KingdomSo friendly and welcoming for us as a family. Felt completely at home and looked after. Absolutely stunning location, with lots to do nearby. Will definitely return!
United KingdomFabulous stay - we felt very at home. Everything was perfect!
United KingdomThe location was amazing, so rural and beautiful. Access to the river Thames just down the end of the lane was great! Yet it was so easy to access places quickly via car. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, giving us great ideas for places to visit and eat out in the area. The room was lovely with pretty views, with a very comfortable four poster bed. Breakfast good, a good variety too choose from.
United KingdomBreakfast was good, huge spread and attentive staff. Beautiful old-world rooms, four poster bed and other well maintained vintage furniture. My daughter slept all night, a testament to the comfortable atmosphere. The room was clean.
