Location was amazing. Heads up though, the trainline runs down the back of the property’s garden. Didn’t bother me as I love trains and they didn’t run over night that we saw. Breakfast was wonderful and I have to say the mattress was one of the comfiest I have ever slept on

In the center of Pitlochry, just outside the Cairngorms National Park, Buttonboss Lodge provides attractive rooms with attached bathroom and a full Scottish breakfast. With free Wi-Fi, and free parking nearby, Buttonboss Lodge has its own well-maintained gardens with views of the mountains.

Each room has a flat-screen TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities. All have an en suite shower with complimentary toiletries supplied. There is also a 1-bedroom apartment suitable for up to 4 guests.

Full Scottish breakfast is cooked to order each morning between 08:00 and 09:30.

Buttonboss Lodge is a short walk from Pitlochry town, with the Festival Theater around 14 minutes away. Blair Castle and Gardens is a 12-minute drive away, and the Blair Atholl Distillery is just a 10-minute walk.

  • We have booked the 1 bedroom apartment for the weekend and have just read from another guest that the WiFi doesn’t work in it? Is this correct? Thanks

    Hello there, Sometimes the Wi-Fi in the apartment can be quite weak as it’s quite far from the router. But we do have a lounge that you can use if the signal is weak.

  • Your description states on site parking and also free parking nearby. Could you confirm please if on site parking is available for all guests as we would be travelling wth a kayak and/or bicycles on the car and need secure parking for peace of mind.

  • From what time we can have breakfast? Can we check out earier than 10am? We have to leave Pitlochry between 8.30 and 9 pm to go back to Newcastle for check in for our boat. thanks Gerard

    We serve breakfast from 7:30 AM so that should work out ok for you. You can checkout anytime really, we might just be busy with breakfast service until 10 Am.
