Gorgeous, Peak District National Park, Garden Apartment Welcome to "The Hideaway" at Cavendish View. A self contained luxury apartment situated in the popular spa town of Buxton; the heart of the Peak District National Park. Relax & unwind with 2 double bedrooms, en suite facilities, lounge/dining area equipped with smart TV & sofa bed as well as a brand new kitchen. Breath in a breath of fresh air out on the sun terrace in the 300 square meter enclosed garden, perfect for alfresco dining. Please note that the access to the property is via steps down to the garden or a gravel slope.
Hi I’m Gareth and along with my lovely girlfriend, my little man Rhys and my adorable Labrador Roxy we love to travel and see the world. Based in Buxton we adore the countryside and all it has to offer. If any of our guests need a helping hand then we are always available for guidance and advice. There is normally someone in the main house at all times although if not then we are always available by telephone in the event of any problems or questions
The property is situated in the Burbage area of Buxton. 200 meters from the property you will find both the local shop along with the local pub (The Duke at Burbage) which serves a wide range of beers along with a lovely food menu. The town centre is 0.5 miles walk from the property through the beautiful pavilion gardens. Within the town centre you will find a wide range of bars, shops and restaurants along with other facilities such as the leisure centre and tourist attractions such as The Crescent. For those in search of adventure, the property is only 0.5 miles from Pooles Cavern, a 2 million year old limestone cave network, Go Ape treetop adventure, Grinlow Woods nature walk and for the most intrepid walkers the Goyt Valley and its beautiful reservoirs. The property is only a short walk from all that Buxton has to offer although there is a bus stop 200 meters from the property, outside the Duke pub. Should you wish to go cycling or walking then the Goyt Valley can be accessed via Bishops Lane avoiding the need to go on any main roads.
