We spent a weekend at Bybrook Barn B&B and we absolutely loved our stay! Hilary was very welcoming, super kind and we really enjoyed chatting with her and Nick. This B&B has an exceptionally calm vibe in the wonderful countryside. The room was nice and unique, the bed is very comfortable; we had everything we needed, and even more - thank you for the treats, fruits and water, Hilary! The breakfast is outstanding!!!!!! We’ve never had such delicious breakfast at any b&b! This hidden gem is a must to visit. It’s highly recommended, a perfect, quiet place to recharge your batteries! Thank you, Hilary & Nick, we hope to be back soon! :)

Although it was quite late when I arrived the location appeared very pleasant. My host was most welcoming, explaining where everything needed in the room was located and advising me about the place I planned to visit the following day. There was a good selection of in room drinks (coffee, etc.) available and the snacks were well though out - not the usual couple of packets of biscuits. A local pub for an evening meal was also suggested. Unfortunately I left too early for breakfast so am unable to comment.

    Hi We have 2 rooms, The Stable and Garden Room both have King sized beds and ensuite facilities, we don't have any bookings for this far ahead as yet! Please let me know if you would like to book, although the prices are will change for next year.

  • Good afternoon. I am asking what the charge is for us to bring a small well behaved dog to your B & B we are looking for somewhere to come to celebrate my 65th birthday, looking at three nights from Thursday 25th November 2021, all our children and grandchildren live in the Leicester area. Thankyou.

    Hello and thank you for getting in touch, we welcome dogs here and make a charge of £10.00 per night per dog, there are some beautiful walks all around with dog friendly pubs too. You might prefer to book The Garden Room as it has it's own garden.

  • We are due to get married and was wondering if we could check in on the morning of the wedding at swithland

    Hello, thanks for getting in touch. We have a huge amount of honeymoon couples staying here and the best way is to drop your bags off the day before and pick up key (although you will not be able to access room as it may be booked out). It just keeps your big day free of running around. But whatever works best for you... I always try and be flexible. Just let me know what works best for you. Thanks Hilary

  • Hello there, could you tell me if the rooms have private enclosed gardens so our dog can go off lead on garden please? Many thanks x

    Hi The Garden Room has it's own garden but there is a 5 bar gate at the end so therefore not totally enclosed. The stable yard is mostly secure for a larger dog, however there are horses and people which share this space at times. Sure we can work something out for you even if you want your dog to use the long line in the garden space attached to the Garden Room... there are also lots of beautiful walks all around and dog friendly pubs too. Bybrook Barn is an award winning bouque B&B, a place where you can wake up to birdsong and a delicious breakfast prepared/cooked just for you. This place is an oasis of calm and tranquility set amidst the stunning countryside of the Charnwood Forest where we are spoilt for many gastronomic delights from the many pubs and restaurants in the villages around. The Barn offers just 2 rooms, The Stable Room has it's own entrance, King sized bed and shower room ensuite with private garden and parking directly outside your room. The Garden Room is a seperate building set in the paddock garden, it has a slightly quirky feel with king sized bed, lounge area, ensuite shower room, parking and own garden where you can lie in bed and watch the amazing sunsets and stary nights. Stay for a couple of nights or more... there is so much to do around here!

Friendly and genuine, I love nature and all the beauty around here, photography, floristry, cooking, horses, dogs cats, family, socialising with my best of friends, and of course my home. I offer floristry workshops in the summer set in the marquee which are very relaxing for a maximum of 8 people, ideal for hen parties and small mindful gatherings.

It"s just lovely here, the wildlife, flora and fauna are ever changing with the seasons. The villages offer a great selection of independent shops, tea rooms, arts and great places to eat and drink.
