The host, Heather, was very welcoming on arrival. Rooms very spacious and spotlessly clean. We had a double and a family room which were close together with the use of a lounge with TV in between. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice. Excellent location, within easy reach of the ferry port at Larne. Would definitely stay again.

Great location - really lovely seaside village with a beach and a friendly, low key atmosphere with beautiful mountains surrounding. Top notch breakfast (best I had on my holidays) - lots of fresh fruit and a quality Ulster fry/ grill and excellent percolated coffee in a room that was bright with lovely views . Friendly hosts and was very late coming in the second night due to ferry delay and owners were very accomodating and left key out for me. A hang out room for guests upstairs is a generous bonus if you were staying for longer with a view of Sallach mountain (not sure about spelling) and the Antrim coast.

The bedroom is a good size with a very comfortable bed and a really excellent ensuite. There is even an upstairs sitting room for guests. We were served a first class breakfast. The house is in a very quiet area up the hill from the sea front. Ballygally is only about 4 miles from the P&O port for the ferry to Cairnryan. Our hosts recommended the convenient pub up a different hiil where you can have a standard bar meal in fairly old-fashioned surrounding.
