I had a lovely week in Silverstone.
I had a lovely week in Silverstone. It started with a visit to the track for a sportscar race and ended with a running race (both went well). In between, I enjoyed some lovely walks in a local forest and also the Pocket Park, visited some friends, ate a meal at the White Horse and a shopping excursion to Northampton.

Thé room was not as pictured although it was very nice & very clean. There is no restaurant as such as you eat in the clubhouse with lots of golfers who have just finished their round and have a pint & packet of crisps before setting off home. It is a very male environment which some ladies may not enjoy. The food served is as you would expect in a pub. You can also chose to have a sausage roll from the hot cupboard that is on the bar !StuartUnited Kingdom

Mark and Lesley were great hosts, chatty and friendly and Lesley's breakfast was seriously impressive, even when confronted unexpectedly with a pair of cranky veggies. Silverstone circuit is five minutes' drive, and we were cheerfully allowed to leave one of our cars at Homeside to ease complications at the track.
