“Cardhu Country House is down a quiet, lazy country road, just what we were looking for. It is an old church manse and has been kept in the traditional style. It is lovely and charming. It was like stepping into a storybook. We were met by Dave at the front door and he answered all of our questions about the area. Breakfast was outstanding and I was sorry that we hadn't had dinner there the night before. It is a little ride back to town, maybe 15 minutes. There is much to do in the surrounding area. I hope that my travels bring me back to this area because I would stay here again. Dave and Val were the perfect lord and lady of the manor.”

“Cardhu Country house was EXCEPTIONAL. Dave and Val were so nice and welcoming. The room was amazing. The bed was SUPER comfortable and we especially loved the claw-footed tub in the bathroom. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE: the best meal we had in Scotland. I had the whisky honey porridge and my partner had the kippers, which were both delicious. I can't find anything negative to say about this place. It was lovely. This was our favorite place we stayed in Scotland. We are recommending it to everyone we know. Don't miss it!”

“Nice property, very close to the Cardhu Johnny Walker distillery. Most other distilleries are in 10-30min radius. Do visit the Macallan (10min from the location); great architecture and gorgeous location. Really good bar too. Rooms are spacious and service is good. Owners are very responsive and offer a nice breakfast.”
