Despite its central location, Carnegie Cottage is in a quiet area, away from the noise of traffic. The apartment is let as a whole – the large main bedroom has a 1000 pocket sprung double bed, The second bedroom has two adult size bunk beds. A fifth family member could be accommodated on a simple folding bed or cot made up in the main bedroom. We welcome holiday makers, people visiting relatives, workers on short term contracts, like theatre performers and engineers, but the apartment is not available for business use which involves customers or clients visiting the property.

Things to do in and around Dunfermline • Visit the historic Abbey and Palace Ruins, the birthplace of several of Scotland's Kings. • Stroll through the beautiful Pittencrief Park (the Glen), 5 minutes walk from the Cottage with its gardens, greenhouse, streams and woodland walks, elaborate childrens’ playpark opened by HRH Queen Elizabeth II, restaurant, and friendly squirrels. • Visit the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum, and Pittencrief House Museum. • The Pedestrianised shopping centre is loaded with pubs, cafes including Starbucks, Costa, Cafe Nero, and numerous family and specialist restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, and all the usual chains, Waterstones, Debenhams, Primark, M&S, etc... • FEELING SPORTY.
