With a 4 star rating from Visit Britain (formerly the English Tourist Board) our beautiful location in this North Northamptonshire village is just minutes away from Oundle, Stamford and Peterborough and is therefore perfect for the business traveller or anyone looking to recharge their batteries in exquisite surroundings. The neighbouring area is also ideal for walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding and sailing at nearby Rutland Water. Our accommodation consists of two double and three twin bedrooms. One of these converts easily into a family room and all are en suite with tea and coffee making facilities. We offer a baby-sitting service and there is a iron available on request. The comfortable lounge has an open fire and fantastic views across the river and meadows of the Nene Valley. Castle Farm Guest House makes an ideal base for the business traveller, offering a friendly relaxed atmosphere, just 15 minutes away from Peterborough city centre and 5 minutes from the A1. Ideally located for easy access to main routes and a peaceful and relaxing escape at the end of the day.

Famed for its historical connections, Fotheringhay is home to the birthplace of Richard III and the execution of Mary Queen of Scots. Although only the site of the castle is left, there are still enough groundworks to evoke ideas of what must have been all those years ago. Surrounding villages are delightfully appealing..
