“Very welcoming hosts. Bedroom was well furnished - Bonus was the small fridge and real milk! Bathroom and shower clean and well supplied with toiletries. Breakfasts choices were good and care was taken to keep everything Covid safe.”

“Delicious, home cooked breakfast using local produce e.g. sausages from local butcher. Plenty of choice including, yoghurt, fruit, cereal. Janet (John's wife) cooked breakfast daily, always attentive e.g. asked if we needed anything for our room. The room was very clean, warm and the bathroom luxurious with a wet room style rainwater & multi-setting shower. On our arrival our host John, was very welcoming providing loads of useful information on places to eat and distance to the pubs and restaurants. We even took his recommendation to book in for Sunday Lunch at The Red Lion, the nearest pub, delicious and great value, we were full but prepared for anything. This was our first visit to Matlock and based on our experience we will definitely go back and stay at Castle Green B&B. Thank you :-) Janet & John”
