The room was spacious and very clean. The rooms and corridors were very clean and modern, above what I would expect for such an old building, nothing was looking tired.

On arrival we were upgraded to a gold standard room which was a nice surprise. Our bedroom was roomy and elegantly furnished. The check-in experience was seamless and after dropping off our bags we quickly found the bar. There we met Victoria who went out of her way to make us feel totally relaxed and at home. The restaurant was reasonably priced and offered an excellent range of cuisine. A good bottle of Sauvignon Blanc was around £20 as was the Malbec, we had both and were not disappointed. The ambiance was welcoming and everywhere was beautifully furnished. We also found the drawing room was a nice place to retreat to at the end of a wonderful evening.

This was our second stay at Catthorpe Manor and was as good as our first. We have just booked again. We support Lowestoft Town Football Club and our travels have taken us to the Birmingham area a few times this season. A pity we didn't find this hotel earlier in the season :)

    Good Morning, Unfortunately we do not have rooms on the ground floor. We have 20 bedrooms in total across the first and second floor. Although we do not have a lift, there is a nice shallow staircase and we are more than happy to carry luggage.
