Beautiful very comfortable room. the bed was excellent and bathroom roomy and shower was great. Had nespresso machine coffee electric kettle milk and shortbread. Bottled water in fridge. Robes and slippers were provided. safe and hair dryer as well as ironing board and iron. Staff was so very nice and helpful. The Rise restaurant was excellent. Food and service top notch.

The open kitchen and spacious setting at The Rise, York creates an immersive and social dining experience for guests, guests can enjoy afternoon tea, lunch time snacks or an evening of luxury. The luxury spa at The Grand has a 13-yard swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. An array of health, beauty and wellness therapies and remedies can also be booked within the spa's vaulted treatment rooms. There is also a modern fitness center, the complimentary use of which is open to guests staying in all rooms, however requires prior reservation for a limited time slot. Pool and spa access and treatments are subject to availability. Our family friendly swim times are 9am & 10am, 3pm, 4pm & 5pm.
