The location was beautiful to walk around and view from my bedroom window. The breakfast service however was dissappointing. The service was quite slow, the items ordered were missing, after reminding the staff there was still breakfast items missing and the hot meal item was not available. On top of that the fruit bowl had a hair in it. I was not charged extra for the hot breakfast and the staff was very firendly and nice. Once this is all resolved, it a great service and experience.

Set in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, Champneys Tring health resort has modern rooms in a classic English stately home. Guests are offered free use of the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and exercise classes from 17:00 until 10:00 every day.

Opened as a health spa in 1925, rooms are surrounded by history and character but retain modern features. A flat-screen TV, DVD player and a full private bathroom are included in each room.

Many bedrooms also have a private terrace or balcony looking out across the 170 acres of beautiful parkland.

This Rothschild Mansion has a range of exclusive treatments, including Carita facials and Kriotherapy. Guests can also take part in fitness classes and yoga and pilates sessions.

    Lunch is 19.50pp and dinner, 29.50pp per day. Use of the resort facilities and to be onsite outside of your arrival and departure times as stated on your booking will incur an additional charge of 55.00pp per day - which includes lunch

  • from your site not clear if all facilities and a restaurant is included in the price of a single room and the same question if I book a double room for my friends to come as well
