Being a Strachan myself it was wonderful to stay in Strachan facing Clachnaben. Our host Rob Strachan gave us a brief history lesson about the Strachan Clan and surrounding area. Our breakfast was lovely as well.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Bedroom was basic but was very comfortable and had en-suite shower room and plenty of tea/coffee available. The Scottish full breakfast was one of the best we've had and the toast and coffee were plentiful.

Alison was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond. My flight was delayed and I didn’t get in until the middle of the night, and she still got up to help me get inside and show me to my room. Every morning we had a lovely chat and she made sure I had coffee and toast while she watched out the window for my taxi to arrive. If you are lucky, you will get to meet their adorably friendly puppy named Stanley! Would absolutely love to stay here again.
