Central Sheffield is a hipster dream!
Central Sheffield is a hipster dream! It has lots of fantastic shops that covers vintage clothing, records, plants, and more. It has lots of independent pubs, bars, and clubs as well as lots of restaurant options for all budgets. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer. Furthermore, the spaces in Sheffield are clearly well thought out, with little parks and areas to sit and interact with. It was clean and quiet as well.

The main purpose of our trip was to visit the Heart of Steel located in the Meadowfield shopping mall. During our 3 night stay we also did the self guided Sheffield Heritage Trail, visited the Botanical Gardens, and the Peak District.

I'm from Sheffield originally so very biased.
I'm from Sheffield originally so very biased. Stay at this hotel regular whilst up visiting family . A lot of building work in the city centre hopefully for the better when its done a mess at the moment. There is plenty to see and do in and around Sheffield.
The staff were 100% committed to providing a great guest experience, especially Robert, making our stay memorable. Location was perfect for the weekend to attend a music event at the Utilita Arena and to get in & out of Sheffield City Centre using the Trams. Complementary parking for the weekend was a bonus although at £5 a day, was considered acceptable. Although we did not visit Meadowhall shopping centre, location of hotel meant it was within walking distance. Will use again if we revisit Sheffield in the future. 👍🏼😊😎
Our room was double aspect, always a bonus. The bed was comfortable. The air con worked reasonably well. The breakfast choice and quantity was good and adequate. The attentiveness of the staff was especially outstanding. The opulence of the reception, dining room and staircase was way above what I had expected. The old pictures were really interesting of the hotel when it was THE Great Central Railway Hotel in Sheffield beside Victoria station now sadly demolished. And the locomotive name plates....marvelous.
Fab location, opposite the cathedral right in the city centre. Felt secure. One bed apartment room 6 - was much better and bigger than I expected for the price. Lovely bedroom area. There is cheap all day parking close by literally 3 minutes walk away from apartment, via "Bank Park" which was only £9.00 for 24 hours - very secure. Sat Nav "Three Tuns" pub as the postcode I put in for the parking did not work very well, and I was going round in circles.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, and value for money.
Central location on the Sheffield city center, easy access to amenities and public transport, close to the train station. You can get pretty cheap rooms with your own bathroom as long as you dont mind if they are a bit small and with no windows. It's great if you want to spend a couple of nights in Sheffield and just want a place to spend the night with no frills.
Communication was excellent. We had 10 of us staying for a stag do and the whole house was an amazing place to stay - well presented, modern, and tidy. Location was perfect for us, less than 10 minutes walk to Sheffield city and for us the other way to a 5 a side centre where we were attending for some stag sports activities. So much cheaper than buying a hotel for the group we had!
Context... This is a budget hotel. And folk need to be realistic about what they expect. Overall though, great stay, friendly staff and room comfortable and clean. Hotel was quiet. Sand check in and out were quick. Easy access to Sheffield city centre
Having an iron and ironing board in the room was very convenient.
Would recommend. And would stay here again.
It's safe and close to the city centre. It may be that the customs of different countries are different. In the UK, the hotel will be cleaned every four days for free if you stay for more than four days, but in China, the hotel will be cleaned every day.
The price of the hotel is still very cheap compared to others.
The hotel room is not big enough for one person.
The furnishings and decor, friendly staff and position of the hotel, right in the middle of Sheffield city centre. It was just a few steps outside to great views and two lovely gardens.
Food was reasonable priced, but also very convenient if you wished to venture out and explore the local restaurants.
This hotel is an excellent location for any activity/event in the city Centre. The rooms are clean, compact and comfortable. Staff are helpful and professional and the price was very reasonable for a city centre. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Sheffield. Thank you.
The budget hotel is basic which is expected very clean and warm with all the necessities available. I work remotely and WiFi coverage is brilliant. All staff members especially Robert offer excellent service and are very accommodate to all guests.

Convenient location for the City Centre with the car park next door which we were able to pre-book at a discount price. Friendly staff, very welcoming and the hotel and rooms were very clean and tidy.
Stylish room with nice little kitchen and table and chairs. Good bathroom. Quiet and very convenient for the city centre. Excellent cheap multi storey parking near hotel arranged by them.
