Very professional family-run 11-room hotel. Easy access off A21, ample parking. Spacious grounds, outdoor bar/restaurant in addition to indoor area. Dinner menu not over-elaborate and food was well done, good wine list. Superior room has excellent views over countryside. Very powerful shower pressure. Staff really keen to help.

Set in an Edwardian country house within secluded landscaped gardens, Claverton Hotel is located on a country lane. Breakfasts are freshly cooked to order using local produce.

  • How much is breakfast and why can’t we book it alone with the room?

    Thank you for your enquiry. We have two rates advertised for each room - one is "room only" (where a guest can choose any dates that they wish to add breakfast at £25.00 each) and one includes breakfast for the total stay. Kind Regards Lorraine

  • I have booked a sleigh bed room. Is the room on the first floor and if so are the stairs easy to negotiate

    All the Sleigh rooms are on the first floor. The stairs are wide and with bannisters. We advise that you let us know your mobilty requirements.

    As from 17/05/21, we serve food in our Function Room or Beer Garden between 12.00 and 20.00 Monday to Saturday; Sunday Lunch (including roast dinner) between 12.00 and 16.00 Sunday followed by a limited menu for residents only from 16.00 to 20.00.

  • Is your restaurant currently available for an evening meal for guests?

    We are using our Function Room for dining.There is also an outdoor area which is partly under cover. We serve food between 12.00 and 20.00 Monday to Saturday; Sunday 12.00 and 16.00 followed by a limited menu for residents only from 16.00 to 20.00

    Yes we do if you book the rate including breakfast. If you book n a room only basis then you can decide on a daily basis whether you want to add on breakfast at £15.00 per person.

  • What is the cost of breakfast ? It looks like £40 on the site

    We have 2 rates - one excluding breakfast "Room Only"and one including. The additional breakfast charge is only applied to guests wanting to book "Room Only" who wish to add breakfast on. Breakfast is cheaper if you book including breakfast.
