The moment you walk in you get a sense of comfort. It was a lovely stay and plus we were celebrating my sisters 60th and the owner arranged for someone to bake a cake plus flowers and chocolate was left for us. These touches made it more memorable. Would definitely recommend

We have family on the island were able to comfortably entertain 10 people for dinner in the dinning room. The location was wonderful being so close to the water and to the centre of Cowes. Everything was only a short walk away. The views from levels 4 and 5 and the roof terrace were superb. The large number of bathrooms was useful. The master bathroom was massive and felt very luxurious. We don't generally like older houses but this one was an exception due to its high standard. The flowers and biscuits provided for our arrival were a welcome touch.

The elegant accommodation combining a mix of period and contemporary style is arranged over a ground and 4 upper floors connected by a magnificent spiral staircase. The spacious entrance reception is a perfect for entertaining and leads to a sitting room with comfortable seating for 10 and access to the rear patio. The formal dining room on the first floor has a beautiful period fireplace, wooden floors and seats 10. The well planned and fully equipped kitchen has ample work space for extensive cooking and seating for 8. The 5 double bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and can be arranged with either king size double or twin single beds or a mix of both. Quality linen and bath towels and fitted wardrobes providing ample storage space. The 3 fully tiled en-suite shower rooms have large vanity mirrors, lighting and shaver points. The massive family bathroom has a roll top bath, separate shower and twin hand basins and shares the same landing as bedroom 3 offering private use if preferred. Bedroom 3 is the master bedroom with a balcony offering awe inspiring views over Cowes harbour and the Solent. Outside, the vehicle hardstand has parking for one car.
18 Castle Road enjoys a superb position in a quiet location overlooking the town of Cowes. Everything is close by, the Redjet high speed passenger ferry, sea front, shops, restaurants and marina are all just a few minutes walk away. It's prime position close to the seafront offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy year round activity in the harbour and Solent with unrivalled views of cruise liners and other shipping as they pass Cowes. Cliffhanger offers perfect accommodation for holiday makers, and corporate guests. Boating and water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and walkers, will find the location perfect for their needs. Business travellers will find the close proximity to Cowes Red Jet terminal, and ease of access to island industry, a bonus.
